the Enterprise Edition features for the Catalyst 2900 series XL product line can simply
and inexpensively upgrade their switches with the Catalyst 2900 series XL Enterprise
Edition Software Upgrade Kit---in either single license or a 10-license arrangement.
The Standard Edition Catalyst 2900 series XL supports the same features as the original
Catalyst 2900 series XL switch family. Each switch includes features such as port-based
VLANs, Fast EtherChannel technology for high-speed uplinks, and CGMP Fast Leave for
multicast management. They can be managed using the built-in Web console, SNMP, or command
line interface.
